Amex is upgrading Zync Cards

I upgraded my Zync to premier rewards gold today. CSR told me there was no need to do soft pull and that they just started offering this. . "Counts as product change not new product." I had Zync for exactly 12 months.

Dont think they are waiving the annual fee for upgrades but at worse they would say "No we can't". Try

Do the extra rewards or benefits justify the increased fee?  I ran the numbers a little while ago and decided to keep my Unicorn for now.

I can justify it for gas and groceries.

Is this card going to be easier to obtain like zync.  Or going to be in line with other charges?  Sorry for jacking.

Wouldn't BCP at 6x groceries and 3x gas be better with less than half the AF be better?
