Does Amex still allow moving around credit lines between your cards?
I am curious to know too. Wonder if you have to wait 13 months of having the card to do so or if you can move CL around immediately or before the 13 months.

I see the option in my account, and I did it in September.

When you moved the CL between cards, did you have the cards longer than 13 months?
OK..I see it now. Under Profile & Preferences ----> See More Options ----> Manage Credit Limit.

Both the trade lines dated back to 2001-2003 -- not sure of the exact dates because of the backdating.
FWIW -- I see the option for the new trade line I opened last month as well (though, who knows that means).
Can't move credit lines between cards under 13 months old.

Thanks for the info! By time my cards are aged enough, they both will have the CL I want!
Haha yeah that's the plan! I think they have this 13 month rule to discourage ppl from apping just to consolidate lines but its inconveniencing those of us who are actually moving around lines with reasonable intentions.
