I was surprised to discover this morning that my new Amex card, I am also a new Amex card holder, reported to Experian IMMEDIATELY after the first statement was cut, exactly three weeks after the account opening date and was posted on my Experian credit report as one month in good standing; Fast work by both Amex and Experian.
Assuming I will get ScoreWatch notice shortly.

Two of my cards reported immediately upon the first statement cutting. So what you experienced, isn't really unheard of.
+1.
AMEX is an incredibly quick reporter period.
Amex is reporting my BCE to Experian. First statement cut on 8/8 (card is only a couple weeks old).
Chase (same age) is also reporting already (to all 3 CRAs).
My BCE showed on EX report right after my second statement cut last month. However it says Reported Since as 06/2014. Same for my discover earlier this year. Is it something that CRAs take time to process new TL from a new lender?
