Amex "Member Since..."

My Amex Zync came today  (I needed something to cheer me up after having oral surgery), yay!  My card says "member since 2011" but my account online says "1997."  Does it matter what the card says?  Will it still report to the bureaus as 1997?  I'm hoping to see an increase in my scores. :smileyhappy:

Starting Score: EQ 678 (8/10/11) -- TU 678 (8/10/11) -- EX Fako 639 (9/7/11)
Current Score: EQ 685 -- TU 686 -- EX 702 (lender pull)
Goal Score: At least 720 across the board by June 2012

It doesn't matter what the card has on it.  If it says 1997 online, it will report as 1997.  You can always call and request that they send you a new card with an accurate Member Since date if it will make you feel better :smileyhappy:
