I have a green card, just wondering, if I app for a revolver from within my account page, will it be a soft pull?

So it can't hurt to apply.... If its a denial it's a soft, if its an approval although a HP, I get the card I really want.... Yes?

Sometimes the 14 day review ends up being more like 14 minutes and an approval eMail arrives.

Suprised Ive never heard this before. So if your logged in to your AMEX online account , and you app for a new card, HP is approved and SP if declined? 100%?

Yes, plus you can do a 2 for 1, one hard pull for revolver and charge.

The best bang for you buck is amex PRG and amex EDP. There is 50k/$1k signup bonus for RPG and 15k/$1k + one year amazon prime. Cancel the PRG after one year and down grade the EDP to ED after 13 months. Personally, I think you should keep the EDP because it's the best card to earn MR points.

Just call and say "I am wondering if you need any more information before extending my approval?". Sometimes AMEX takes a few days to contact you and it is something as simple as your address format being incorrect. It is always better to call and find out rather than wait for them, IMO.
