Amex tax verification 4506-T - infos

Hi,

here some infos re Amex tax verification 4506-T.

I requested 25K limit on my Starwood card anf they requested the tax forms. That was last November.

Important : Until August of a year, they can only get the tax infos from 2 and 3 years ago.

example : its July 2015, then they get your taxes from 2012 and 2013

example : its August 2015, then they get your taxes from 2013 and 2014

A month ago, I requested a 3x CLI on my BCP from 15K to 45K and now the funny part : They wanted the tax forms again, although they'll receive the same data !!!

I called and asked and they told me that they don't store the tax information after the decision is made.

btw, I got the increase but the whole process takes about 3 weeks

made it's not new info but I thought I pass it along.

Nice... But with Amex you can't go over 100k on a card..............

worth a wait 3-4 weeks. nice cli's.

now what happens if they decide to turn down your cli request after 1 month? will they counter for less CLI?

As always, they can approve the fiull amount, offer a partial CLI, or decline one altogether
