Amex ?

From what i have read, is it true Amex only hard pulls if approved ? Sorry for all the questions but i really have a itchy app finger ...


Starting Score: EQ 729 TU 727
Current Score: Ex (AMEX) 765 EQ 734 TU 736
Goal Score: 780+

I believe this applies to existing Amex customers.

That is correct.   If you are not currently an AMEX customer you will get a hard pull regardless of whether or not you are approved.

Before you apply you can find out if you are pre-approved without a hard pull or inquiry. Note that, Amex requires good to excellent credit. Here's the link below:
