Amount of time Amex gold hard limit removed takes

Hello, everyone

I was FR by Amex a few months back on my gold card and got a hard limit placed on my account for 3K. I was just wondering how long did it takes for to get the hard limit removed ??? Like length of time and how much payment history do they want to see ?? I had my card since nov, and ran about 17k throughout it so far...just wondering any thoughts

Not sure but I'll try to provide some insight.. 

Maybe try using the spendability button to see if if you can go over 3K, or call the number on the back of your card and ask them about usage.

I know this isn't your case, but when someone is late on a payment penalty apr is for 12 months, then reevaluated.
