And my next card should be....

Have: CSP 32k. Freedom 17k. Citi TYP 18k. Discover 30k. Amex Gold. (And a Sportsman's Visa so I can use rewards to buy ammo wife doesn't think I need. She has 127 pairs of shoes) Wife has a few store cards. My scores 750ish, wife's 830ish. The CSP is new but AAoA 13 yrs. PIF, util 5%

Waiting for a good bonus offer for Ritz. I was thinking BCP now as it backdates to 87. Thoughts, MyFiconians?

Yes. If you don't have an AMEX revolver, BCP is as good as any.

The other one to consider is the EveryDay Preferred, that will combine MR points with the Gold. (is it PRG or plain Gold?)

Maybe a hotel card. They come with an AF but it's usually offset with annual free rooms and excellent sign up bonuses.

Give us something to work with to narrow down the options.  What are your specific needs/wants?  You've mentioned a hotel card and a cash back card which really doesn't explain your reasoning.  Are free hotel nights and backdating the only things you need/want?  Are you not looking for rewards on category spend?  Give us a priotized list so we can assess potential cards versus randomly selecting cards and trying to justify them.

Re: And my next card should be....

Thanks for all the responses. We will get the Ritz card when there is another tempting bonus. We like the Ritz and stay at their properties quite a bit. I would like a good rewards program and a good CL. The Amex backdating is a bonus but the BCP seems to be a good card, especially with the 3x cli. I plan to be traveling more next year so I am going to get a Platinum card at the end of the year or whenever they are offering a nice MR bonus. I don't mind fees if there is value in the card and I will be flying where Amex has lounges.

Once I get the two Amex cards, if that is what we do, we are probably all done with cards. I love reading CreditAddict's threads, but that is too much work!
