Yes. If you don't have an AMEX revolver, BCP is as good as any.
The other one to consider is the EveryDay Preferred, that will combine MR points with the Gold. (is it PRG or plain Gold?)

Give us something to work with to narrow down the options. What are your specific needs/wants? You've mentioned a hotel card and a cash back card which really doesn't explain your reasoning. Are free hotel nights and backdating the only things you need/want? Are you not looking for rewards on category spend? Give us a priotized list so we can assess potential cards versus randomly selecting cards and trying to justify them.
