Ok.....you can see my card list below. I am really wanting another prime card so I can spread charges out on my non-store cards. What is a good one I should try for that is within reach?
Scores below of the most current I have.
I do not want capital one....they denied me not long ago.....I think because I applied for a higher level card by accident.
I have a bp store card with Chase that has been pending a week.
No charge offs on any report.
One collection on all 3 (95.00) It is in dispute and says so on all reports....will fall off in 2014
Most if my inquiries have been on eq
So, any suggestions? Would it be smart to get another prime or should I wait?
Is your amazon card a store card or the visa by chase? if its the store card by GE then i would app for the visa amazon by chase

How old are the cards below? Try to get your GE cards limits up so you have a better chance at a higher CL on any new cards you apply for. Is a "Prime" card with a $500 limit now better than a Prime card in a few months with a $2,500-$5,000 limit? IMO you may be better of waiting until your current cards grow with you.

Wait to see what happens with Chase. Time might be your friend.

Chase is still reviewing OP's BP store card. Making another app w/Chase would not be useful.

You really need to garden the cards you have and wait for the CA to fall off. Your best bet at getting a MC/Visa is going to a local CU. You would need to call around first. Some are very conservative, but others are more lenient and willing to help people establish or rebuild credit. Other than that, you should just sit tight for a while.

Didn't you open 3-4 new accounts recently? If so I definitely would wait or you are going to get a bunch of small credit limits. I would work on growing the limits. Your GE accounts should grow quite nicely and fairly quick. GE tends to throw out weird CLIs in the first few statements. I would wait!

There are some that will match and other times blow other credit limits away. Hopefully you get that Chase to get your foot in the door because in a few months you can apply for freedom. I received my Chase Amazon Visa in March and it started at 1300. When I applied for the Freedom in June, they started that at $3000 and two months after that it was doubled.
On a totally separate issue, you just got the Walmart, right? When were you able to get your Fico score? I was approved on the 15th. I assume I need the actual card to register?

myFICO is the consumer division of FICO. Since its introduction 20 years ago, the FICO® Score has become a global standard for measuring credit risk in the banking, mortgage, credit card, auto and retail industries. 90 of the top 100 largest U.S. financial institutions use the FICO Score to make consumer credit decisions.
