DCU is great for us common folks.
For the high flyers not so much since they are no NCUA insured. But then again that's part of the reason they can offer such great services as products.

Why not just join DCU?
I thought I remembered seeing (can't find it now) that they will charge to do an external transfer... I guess I could pull the money via ach from usaa/chase though... Just seeing what the options were.
I don't live paycheck to paycheck; however, if i can get paid early YES PLEASE.
I may just apply for this after my Sallie Mae <3

I transfer money from my other accounts to my DCU account easily and all of my other accounts offer free external transfers.
DCU allows you to recieve external transfers no problem, but sending external transfers costs a fee.

they are upgrading their web site very shortly. perhaps the new site will allow external transfers for free.
I do love their android deposit app. I submit my check by takign a picture then i call them a few minutes later and they make the funds available right away. they always say, we'll make an exception this time, but next time, its a 24-48 hour hold. im sure if i called every time for an early clear exception they would do it.
ahh! on the web site is a banner that days no NCUA insured. i thought that applied to all their products.
