Live in upstate NY and thinking about applying for walmart discover--scores around 700
have 0 hp's on trans and 5 on equi
does anyone know which companies use trans union exclusively--i hear wal mart/ge--anything on amex blue cash? or any others txs!
Looks like GECRB and Barclays are pretty sure to pull Transunion in NY. You may get lucky with Discover, Citi, and Chase.
I was approved yesterday for a $800 Walmart Discover card with a 671 score and they pulled TU. I have a thin file 11 month history around 6 INQ and live in VA if that helps.
Pretty sure AMEX is an EX puller. Barclays, as mentioned above, is a 100% TU puller. State Farm Bank is a TU puller as well.
For me, both my GE cards (Amazon and Walmart) pulled TU exclusively. Kohls also pulled TU. I applied for Discover in 2010 and 2011 and both times they pulled TU. I am in Chicago.
Amex was Experian for me twice.
Discover is split between TU / EQ. They do not exclusively pull TU.
