Dillards AMEX.
Hmm I never shopped there before but thats a good choice.
Probably going to Sock Drawer my Amex cards post FR and looking for an Amex card not offered by them
Are they going to cut limits? If you are SD, I guess that means that they didn't close them!
Savingstar Amex by FNBO is a card I've seen people talk about positively and on these forums lately.
I have the Fidelity Amex and it's a very good card with the 2% cash back. All you have to do is set up a Cash Management Account which only takes a few minutes. I think the Dillard's Amex will be harder to build a decent credit limit with than Fidelity. BofA is good with increases even though they require a HP, my card started with a $15,000 limit and within 6 months I requested a $10,000 increase and it was granted instantly.

This. I recently app'd for the SavingStar Amex and am set to receive it any day now. Looks like a great card.
Here is the link to it being discussed on these forums: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Approvals/SavingStar-American-Express/td-p/3444457
Here's a link for more info on the card: https://savingstar.com/credit_card
Since it's issued by FNBO, it also gives you a free EX FICO 08 (BankCard model) score each month.
Fidelity Amex, by far the best fake Amex available.

Wells Fargo Propel World Amex has a signup bonus of over $400. It's debatable if its worth keeping after year 1 and approvals are very ymmv.
It has an AF of $175 (waived the first year); with an AF of $45 (also waived), there is the Wells Fargo Propel 365 card.
That said, both cards could serve a purpose. World for travel, 365 for domestic use.

My relationship with WF wasn't really worth much when I tried getting the Propel card, even after being with them for years counting the fact that I had a checking account with them back in 2010 with someone else in my family so you're definitely right about approvals being YMMV. There are even people I've seen that have had no relationship with WF and have gotten the Propel cards.
