Any good gas cards?

I was thinking about getting a gas card, something to help take advantage of gas rewards. I know Shel land a few others have 10 cents a gallon rebate for your first year, etc. Does anyone know of any REALLY good gas cards? I am in CA so please only list CA gas stations.

Re: Any good gas cards?

I'm also thinking about getting a gas card too to get some more activity on my credit. I was thinking about Chevron or Shell.

Ummm, what about PenFed?

I don't know of any better deal than 5% cash back posted to your account every single month, good at any gas station in any state that allows you to pay at the pump.

5% back on $3/gal (summer gas prices!) --> $2.85/gal.

Re: Any good gas cards?

i have both the Chevron and Shell gas cards.  i got them a few years when i started rebuilding, my shell has been at 850 for the longest time, and my chevron jumped from 700 to 1100 and now is at 1800, all automatic increases.  Both cards have had those limits for a while now.  no real benefit IMO.
