"Some secured credit cards charge higher rates and fees. The Capital One Secured Credit Card offers you competitive terms—and as an added benefit of this card, you can track your credit with enrollment in CreditInform®, a service that provides you access to your credit score, as well as other credit tools and information."
Is there a cost eventually? Is it a FAKO?

As per the CMS Guide:
Credit Inform Premier via CapOne - $8.99/mo - FAKO (CreditXpert) - This service pulls your EX report quarterly and analyzes everything for you w/ charts, graphs, etc. The monitoring service monitors EX only and does so on a daily basis. The score offered is a CreditXpert score.
Must be a trial then bc they listed it as free, thx
I use this feature! Yes it is a fako score, but it also monitors any changes to your CR so in that way I guess it is somewhat useful!! There is no trial period for Cap1 cardholders, their is a special number that you call and they will send you a welcome kit with how to enroll and it is ALWAYS FREE!!
It is free and you can keep using it after you close the secured card.
It seems to be close to FICO scores from my use. You get a monthly snap shot of your Experian report.
They have a premiere edition $9 month, but I don't use it.
Cool, I'll have to wait til I finally get the card then I'll check.
My honey buns used it and it helped him get an idea of what he was working with. It was free while he had a secured card. When he switched to a unsecured Capital One card. One of the steps ones it charged him 5.99. I wanted to add it to mine and It wanted to charge me 8.99. I think it just depends which card you have as to how much you get charged.
