Anybody else know of this?

I'm not sure if I've seen that, but I have started getting credit card offers in the mail and I have an alert on my records so i figured it came from CreditKarma, because they're to only thing that I'm doing differently.

My CK score is less than all my FICO scores too. When I was at the gym, it dawned on me that my 90 days of fraud alert expired 7/11/14.  Thus, I started getting the mail as soon as the alert expired.I'm going to finish with the purchase of my house and then place them back on.

OKay as long as we're talking about CK I have to ask this question.  Do you get the alert that an inquiry as happened and when you check it's a pre-approval where someone has done a soft pull? Until I saw this thread, I just ignored them.  Thinking they were the same as the adds on the site.

If you getting an alert saying someone has pulled tour credit from CK then it was a HP,  the example you gave there is an alert for a new account being added, not necessarily a HP inquiry

My ID Protection doesn't show the inquiries only CK.  Can they do a hard pull without you applying for anything?   I guess I better go check my credit report more carefully.

I do remember something like this happenign for me also back when they switched to sync. I had hp added, but then few weeks later was removed. Just keep your eyes out for something similar to that.

I had a similar situation, but mine just said new accounts added, not new inquiries. It didn't effect my score at all
