I want to eventually get this card but my fico score is only 634 at the moment so I won't get approved for it. Although, I'm curious what kind of score I would need. I have already looked on whogavemecredit.com but there wasn't a whole lot of people who got that card. I know my friend just applied for one and his score is like 720ish and he got a 15k limit with a 4.99% apr for life. Thanks guys

I had a similar fico when I app'd for the Delta and got an 8k limit, the biggest I have received.  I then converted to the Blue card, same CL.

One inq that was 360 days old when I applied.  And one 6.75year old collection on EX (since gone, hence the 50 point score jump!)

Re: Anybody have Amex Blue? If so, credit score and limit?

I have Blue for Students, which is a different app, but doesn't appear any diff. on CR than the reg. blue. My int. rate is higher, and I started off w/ a 2200 CL if I remember correctly, and scores at that time ranged from 640-680.

At the time processed I was an undergrad at the age of 36 w/ a decent HHI- so that might have made a difference.

I love Amex.
