I have both Amex & shore account with Club & Special events attached to it.
my stsements for store cuts on the 2nd and Amex cuts on the 9th.
my letter stated that the merging of accounts would take place on 8/2/15 & 8/9/15.
I asked a rep rep and they said I would be able to call and get my new combined limit on 8/21/15
i have Amex - $5k ..... Store - $5k........ Club - $5k...........Special event - $5k
was told the major purchase accounts wouldn't merge and the accounts with activity in the last 24 months would combine.
I was wondering if anyone out there have had any action on their accounts yet ?
Was as also told that the Amex account holders will have 1 big limit for ALL purchases , inside and outside of Macy's
And they will be issuing new Amex cards with the chip in a month.
Last week I had to add my AU's to my Amex as they are only a on my store accounts. Did this thru the Amex dept.
consider me a stalker because that's exactly what I'm doing to my online account ...lol
