I love my Macys and the fact I'm about to have the Macy's Amex not sure I want to mess with them, but just wondering if anyone has been able to successfully work out payments with them under a reduced interest plan? Just want to check all my options at this point!

really only concerned about the visa... but if I don't do anything with it, it's on my debt snowball in 3 months and I will be applying $900 payments a month, so may just do that because I'm not sure I want to have it closed out, just thought I would check though

WOW!! Thats a lot to owe Macy's at their interest rates. I would seriously attack this debt as hard as you can. I've not seen department store issuers negotiate interest rates as there is no competing products they offer (i.e. Citi's different CCs with different rates). Have they CLD your accounts at all?

about 6 months ago they CLD $100 on my Visa, and that's it and that was before they gave me an additional $4500 on furniture CL so I don't think they are after my accounts... My store card is still 10700.
