Anyone get a CLI from Fifth Third: update

I've had a Fifth third bank Platinum MC for 6 months now.

It came with the 0% APR for 12 mos, so I do have a balance.

1600 on a 6000 CL. I 'm think of calling in for a CLI.

Anyone have any success with CLI from 5/3 and if so. Is it a hard inquiry?

I am not really expecting anything, but no harm in asking.

Well, I went ahead a called the number on the back of the card. CSR transferred me over to New Accounts(800-275-4858 opt 3) there the rep said, that they normally give increases between 6 mos to a year. I was eligible for an auto increase of 600. She asked if I wanted to accept it. Which I did. I am thinking since this was an auto increase that it wasn't a hard, but silly me didn't ask. I'll check my reports later today for it. New CL 6600 and will take from 4 to 24 hours to post. I've been given increases from all my current cards except for Wamu. Wamu separation date: Jun 30. I guess not all marriages are made it Heaven.

from what I read most CS reps don't know a hard from a soft anyway...you'll find out on your next report pull.
