Some of the not so obvious CU cards don't get much love. 5/3/1 though sounds like the same structure of many other cards and I'm sure the rate is probably better as well for long term growth. However after digging in a litltle more it looks like they cap the CL at $25K - http://www.fortknoxfcu.org/visa.html#card_comparison For most of us this wouldn't suffice as we tend to have higher than average CL's.
There are some other CU's you can join through ACC that provide higher options up to $50K limits and just as good APRs.

Thanks for the information. Always good to know. Just an fyi - PenFed Rewards offers the same rewards structure. They are excellent. Again, thanks.
You can join the American Consumer Council for free with promo code "consumer".

Well, no it doesn't. The Plat Rewards cards offers points, which are worth about 0.85c (assuming redemption for Visa Gift Card) so the rates are worse. ThE Penfed Cash Rewards does give a solid 5% on gas only (with a qualifying account)

As you reminded me elsewhere, depends on goals though! The Fort Knox card is best in class for those with large gas bills. Using it mainly for that, for most $25K is going to be more than enough

Fort Knox also restricts out of state members to cap of $2k limit for the first year on their cards. As ML stated, Penfed is a much better option.
Not sure where you heard they have a $2k starting limit for out-of-state customers, but my starting line was higher than that last year and I live in New Hampshire.
As for the PenFed card, that only gives 5% back at the pump, right? My Fort Knox card gets a lot more charges in the gas station "store" then at the pump and pays the 5% back inside as well.
