I closed on my mortgage on Monday and my LO gave me the green light that I could do CC apps as my loan had funded Monday evening. So here are my results:

Discover IT - Declined

Capital One Quicksilver - Approved $1,500 CL

Home Depot - Approved $500 CL (called the backdoor number and requested CLI of $2,000 should hear back in 3-5 days)

Citi Simplicity - Declined

NFL Extra Points - Approved $2,500 CL

Barclaycard - Approved $1,500 CL

Amazon Store Card - Approved $600 CL

Chase Freedom - Declined

On the 3 declined cards should I recon these when I get my denial letters?

Start: (4-21-13): EQ 560 (FAKO) TU 544 (FAKO) EX 549 (FAKO)
Current: (8-27-13): EQ 650 (FICO) TU 677 (FICO) EX 643 (FICO)
1st Goal: Purchase my first home (Done on 9/3/13)
2nd Goal: 700 across the board

I thought it wasnt possible to get approved for 2 barclays card at the same time.

You can try Chase before you receive letter.

I will try the backdoor number on Chase shortly, thanks for the information. On the Barclaycard my bad you are correct I misread my notes lol. The should have said Empire Bank (my local bank) credit card. The only Barclay card I have is the NFL Extra Points.

Recon Discover, i love there CSR, i got a CLI of $3k SP two days ago.

Good luck with Chase! They are normally pretty good with recon, so I think you have a decent chance. Keep us posted.

If you have a Lowes nearby I'd go ahead and grab it while your at it. They have a lot better financing offers than Citi w/ HD.
