App Spree!!!

We closed on our home last week, so decided to go on an app spree considering 1.  no urgent needs for credit the next few years 2.  Tons of GREAT mileage offers out there expiring soon.

AA Citibank - 50k miles (1k purchases)

United Explorer Chase - 50k miles (1k purchases)

US Airways - 50k miles - 1st purchase

Southwest Chase - 50k points (3k purchase)

Chase SP - 40k points (3k purchases)

I was approved for Citi, US Airways, and Chase SP and then used my wife for United & Southwest.  All in all, 240k miles / points = free travel for next year!

All of the fees are waived (except Southwest) for a year.  Be careful with the chase applications, they get a little dicey about multiples and you will likely get a pending (and have to call)

I totally second the multiple Chase inquiries, even when you are GREAT bankers with Chase.

Redid my parents finances this week, had my mom apply for CSP, UA, and Freedom. The UA was last and they wanted to know every bit and detail about it. Ended up extending over $100k in credit, so they were generous, but man, they were long conversations with the recon specialists.
