After  Gardening 2 yrs and reducing my util  ,I am thinking to go app spee for 3 -4 credit cards, primarily for Balance Transfer ( I care less about rewards as i don't spend too much).

PenFed first is a recommendation. Also, Slate is really only good for BTs. If you're looking for that great, but if not you might consider the CSP -- you'd more likely get the CL that you're wanting.
