Since Lowe's did not go so well, Are you going to apply for Macy as well. IMO, Macy's made a lot more sense, because you shop there regularly. Lowes could wait until you actually bought the house and had a big purchase for them. I think Store credit cards should be based primarily on which stores you shop at, not the underwriter.
Yeah that lady was less than helpful. We were both very polite, don't get me wrong. She messed up my ssn twice when trying to pull up my application. Finally she got my application up, put me on hold for a few minutes and came back on to say due to security/privacy reasons all she could tell me was that I was declined by the system and I should receive a letter in 7-10 days that would "give me clarity" as to the reason for the denial.

I guess I could. What is one more inquiry right haha. Now I'd either have to do it online, over the phone or wait until later in the week when I can make it to the store.... I hear you cannot get Amex version if you app any way other than instore is that accurate?

Is it worth 2 HP's to get a Macy's account? You have one hit for Lowe's & have you tried a recon?

She said she was. The guy that answered the phone originally said he was customer serivce, I asked for a credit analyst and he put me on hold/transferred me to the other lady....
