I apped for Walmart in store for the $20 off and the FICO. Approved for Discover, and it says temporary CL of $3000. Worst interest rate. Hopefully they will lower it over time, although I don't plan to carry a balance.
Now I am done apping for a while. I really should have waited to app Walmart, but I wanted the FICO I hope this doen't make my current cards angry with 4 new cards...
Oh, does Discover have a Walmart card?

Actually GE has both a regular Walmart card and a Walmart Discover card. GE is generous on CLI's.
Is the GE easier to obtain? I have a GE card now, but I doubt that makes being approved for another a sure thing. I would really like the FICO score each month, since I don't shop there. (I'm gardening now, so this would be for around this time next year)
What is the difference?
The regular Walmart card is only good at Walmart. The Discover is good anywhere Discover is accepted.
I thought so. Is it a Discover Card that has WALMART splashed all over it? Kinda like an advertising thing?
It's more like a Walmart card that has Discover splashed all over it. It just means it uses the Discover network as opposed to Visa, MC, etc.
Here is the link, kinda bold and very Walmart:
