So I was on the forum yesterday debating whether it was a good idea to app for another card after having been approved for the NFCU cashRewards (1500) back in March. My AAoA is about 2 years, and have an open car loan as well as student loans entering repayment later this year.. Well, read about the Amazon Visa and decided to app for it, figuring if I was denied, than this would be it, and I would quit for a while. Denied for Capitol One earlier this year and I think I was denied for the Target store card (pulled EQ two weeks ago at my request for app, but haven't heard back). Both used EQ, and I'm not sure who Amazon/Chase pulls. EQ was 731, TU is 693 (per NFCU's letter) and FAKO is 673. Well I was instantly approved for a CL of 2000! Decided that's it, and going to go in the garden now, and see how the scores improve later this year!
