Well, decided I'd app for a BCE, just to see what happens.
My util might be a little high on the CR they will be looking at, but I was hoping my scores might mosey me right in.
I have no major purchases planned for the next year, so what the hell.
Got the dreaded "pending review" screen.
So much for a decision in 60 seconds.
So what's next? Do I call? Do I get an email?
Do I really have to wait 14 days?

You can check the application status online. Search google american express application stauts and you'll find the link.

I would call now and ask them if there is any information/questions you can answer and see what the holdup is. Hopefully it's something minor! Good luck!![]()
