I just opened a B of A checking and savings account. They pulled Transunion for me (hard) but when checking out all my monitoring products, I see that they did a soft on Experian and on Equifax.
My daughter is in Detroit. They hard pulled Experian for her. So I think it is whatever suits their fancy at the time.

I am thinking of applying for a card knowng I will be directed to secured. But I am planning to apply for the MSHDA mortgage product through B of A in August so am making myself wait.
