I saw many threads that Apple Financial Credit Union being BK friendly, but they declined my application for a secured card because of BK. My BK was 20 months old at the time of applying. Credit score was 632 in December 2012
It read the reason of decline:
Public Record on file
Short length of time since derogatory public record.
BK is my only public record on TU
They sent me an email of decline letter. I applied in December 2012 and just not heard from them only after contacting and speaking to a supervisor.
I guess getting the Capital One unsecured increase on my secured card worked in my favor 
I will keep Capital One secured card and try for another unsecured card in May 2013
