Applied for Amex BCE and got 14 day response message

Im curious if I should call in and check the status of this or just let it be? I did get approved for the Discover IT card so I wont be completely bummed if I dont get this one.

The last 2 times I got that message with AmEx, I called their New Accounts dept. and received the good news over the phone.  Coincidentally, prior to then, I did not call in after getting the 14 day message on another app & 2 days later was declined.  So, now, I'm of the mindset of calling in rather than just waiting.  Smiley Wink

 

P.S. Congrats on Discover & Good Luck with the BCE.  Hope you get it!

I agree with all posters make the call and good luck

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
