My mail is forwarded to the PO box because I get my business mail there as well. I've had it for a long time so I don't know why that would be so risky.

AMEX won't care about the P.O. box as far as a mailing address.

You will have to give them your physical address as well if you get your 

mail at a P.O. Box. Both of them should be on your reports to be verified.

I also have a fraud alert on my cr. On the application I listed the PO box as my mailing address but put my physical address on there as well. In regards to fraud alerts, how do they verify your identity? Do they use those multiple choice public record questions?

They probably couldn't give you an instant decision via computer  because of your thin file and so they sent it to manual review.  But since they are closed there wasn't anyone there to do the manual review so it'll most likely be getting done today by a person.  You'll get a HP on your EX either today or tomorrow.  Good luck

How would they know I have a thin file if they didn't make a soft or hard pull? Lol I think it's the address issue and I just realized I have a fraud alert on my report.
