Applied for Delta Skymiles Card

I applied for the Delta Skymiles Card (Amex) last night and got the following message:

The following information is necessary to finalize your application:

  • Home Address Verification

Honestly not sure why they would need to as I've had my present address on all 3 CBs for several years now...but does this mean I'm more or less conditionally approved once verified? Or does it just mean they can't start processing the request until they verify my info?

Call I think your approved

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I'll have to wait until tomorrow since they don't have office hours on Sunday, but I hope you're right!

Re: Applied for Delta Skymiles Card

That's great news.  Smiley Very Happy  I mostly decided to get the card because I fly almost exclusively through them anyway (nearest airport is a big Delta hub) and even discounting all other perks the free checked bags alone would end up saving me a bit of money.

If your get 2500 bonus points for each round trip ticket then if I were to buy 4 tickets would I get 10k points or is it based on individual transactions as a whole?
