Apply for Amex green or gold?

The annual fee difference doesn't bother me, . . I definitely want the Gold, but don't want to be denied when i could have gotten the Green. My question is if there is a big difference between them, approval-wise. Here are my current EX stats, assuming they pull from there.

Approximate score 680-712
AAoA1.5 years
2 open credit cards with nearly 1.5 years on first one 8 months second one perfect history
Leasing a car with 15000 debt with a cosigner

Same requirements for underwriting so if you want gold go for it

Check out the PRG for the sign up bonus and extra rewards. You can always PC to Green or Gold to avoid the higher AF if it's not worth it.

This - the PRG offers the best ways to earn MR, so I'd go with that one.

As others said, Green/Gold have same approval requirements.  PRG is more difficult on the other hand.

What about Platinum?

An Amex is my goal card and with the travel I'm currently doing, I can make the perks numbers work in my favor to offset the annual fee.

So is UW the same across all their charge cards?
