call them and ask for credit limit.......

That practice is discouraged by many people on this board. Check out this thread:

Congrats! As someone else said, you can have both bce and blue sky. I was approved for both in the same month. I love them and like to rack up travel and cash between the two.

Thanks all! I get tons of info from this forum.
What other questions do you ask when calling to find out the CL? Can I ask to expedite my card?
Btw whats NBD?

Now, I'm itching to find the CL.

Fyi, I used my Score Power before applying and it's 753.

Congrats! That's the card I want to get approved for in the future.

Re: Applying for Amex: BCE or Blue Sky. Advice please

Received the card yesterday.

CL: $9,900

Cash Advance Limit: $2,000

APR: 17.99% starting April 2014

I also received a letter about a week prior that said that their source was Experian and my FICO score was 725.

It's so strange because just before I applied my score was 753, I don't know why they got 725.

Anyways, I'm so happy, this is my highest CL.

So, when the 61 days come they're gonna give me CLI to $29,700??? Assuming I make good payments. I know anything above $25,000 they ask for tax something (I don't remember).

Can I specify the amount when I request CLI?

Thanks all!

Nice approval!  Great beginning CL!

The maximum Amex CL without financial documenation is $25K.  You can certainly request up to that on the 61st day!

Enjoy your new Amex!
