Applying for Capital One credit card

Ok I am getting ready to apply for capital One cc.  I went to whogavemecredit.com  and I noticed some people were denied because of their bankruptcy.  Also, all my credit cards are near their limits do you think I will get denied because of these?

Starting Score: 501
Current Score: EQ585/TU618/EX633
Goal Score: 700

Re: Applying for Capital One credit card

I have a card and has had it since 2004 filed Ch 7 06/2003--started out with a 300 limit now have a 1500 limit about 19 percent interest rate---so wouldnt think the bankruptcy alone will get you declined

just remember they pull all 3 credit bureaus
I want to join the 700 club one day I am getting there :smileywink:

Re: Applying for Capital One credit card

If you have a BK and your utilization is high- I would not bother.
