Ok, so my plan is to ditch my Capital One Platinum card. It helped me re-establish my credit and for that I am grateful.
But the time has come to get rid of them. $59 annual fee and no rewards.
So to replace it, I decided to apply for a USAA Rewards World Mastercard and was instantly approved for $10,000!
So needless to say, Cap One is getting kicked to the curb.
Unless they want to switch me to a Venture card with no HP.
Yeah right like that will happen!
I'm all done with the credit cards now.
Gardening time and oh one more thing.....
Winning!
That is AWESOME. I to received a pre-app for USAA world card last night, but threw it away.
What was your file like that enabled you to go from a cap one (secured or non-secured?) to a 10k limit - like that?!
My EQ score is 717.
The only thing bad on there is a 120 day late that is 6 years and 3 months old.
That's it.
By the way,
I also got approved for an Amex BCE on March 1st for $4,000. I'm done now.
3 years ago, my scores were in the low 500s.
I've come a long way!
Where did you get your EQ score from?
This website.

You don't need military affiliation. You can register with USAA and just select "No" to all the military questions, then log in and apply.

The CCs avail for full members are different than those for limited members. Unfortunately the World MC is not avail for ltd members. If you log in (and you're a ltd member), the CCs you can app for changes from what you see if you look at what's avail when you're not logged in. I also would love to be able to get this card, but it's not avail for ltd members. Ltd members have higher interest rates and lower rewards.
