Does anyone know if the cc underwriting department determine if you are approved?

Can you word your question more clearly?

I think you're asking if an underwriter manually reviews it. In many cases the answer is no, but an UW will sometimes review if the auto approval system doesn't approve you, or if you call in to reconsider.

Yes, the leding department determines that.  Why do you ask?  What card did you apply for?

Hi Yes it's me it was a US Bank cc that was secured and now it's not.
