I just applied for the Wal Mart Credit card and was automatically approved with a cl of 1,800. I do have another GE account and my fico scores are TU of 684 and EF of 694 and Ex of 711 based on an Amex denial. Got 6 Inq's and no baddies. AAOA is 2 years and clean history. I recently applied for Chase Freedom as well and was denied because o to high revolving credit at 21% and to many CC acounts as I've got 15 closed and open. First automatic approval I've also got a Citi and Discover card but those I had to call and confirm some info. Why was it so easy to get approved for Wal Mart Card as opposed to Chase. I only got this card for the free Ex Fico Score. Sorry or long post lol

If you have not already, I would try and call the backdoor for chase for reconsideration.

Congratulations on the approval but did you mean to type TU08 score, not the Experian score.
Congrats, and to reiterate what everyone else has said, call the recon number for Chase. I was denied the Chase Freedom, called the recon they asked me a couple questions about my baddies a couple collections and judgments. I answered them honestly and I was approved for 800, not my highest but it's an in, and they will grow with me and they will with you as well. Good luck.
