You know...I truly had no idea my EX score was even at 639 until the dreaded denial from the AMEX Green came back and I could immediately see the deciding factors in the denial. What I gather is that the criteria for the two are different. Back to gardening.
@flyingmd wrote:headsup... There have been several people on this board that when issued the ZYNC they were given some ridiculously low credit limit (like 200 without autopay and 500 with autopay). If that happens I would still take the card as if you make multiple payments a month you can put a fair amount through on the card and they will most likely remove the limit in 6 months. There was a recent post about this if you check the first few pages. Let us know what happens.
I read about that on a different post. They didn't give me that option. I recall seeing a "Congratulations You're Approved" message and another one that said I would have a hard set $250 spending limit that I could use immediately for online purchases until my card arrived. I was then given my account number, temporary ID, and expiration date followed by, your card will arrive in 7-10 business days.
Congratulations on the New AmEx and also on your rebuilding, you are doing great, keep up the great work!!
