I want this card! I have a hard time deciding between AMEX CCs and this one seems to be the one I gravitate to. I don't want to apply for it though, do they preapprove for it? I check every day but so far, nothing.

And how did you get a 10.24% when their disclosures say 17%?!

"Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Purchases 0.0% introductory APR for 6 or 12 months, based on your creditworthiness.
After that, your APR will be 17.24, 19.24 or 21.24%, based on your creditworthiness as determined at the time of account opening. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate."

Yep- the lowest available APR is much higher now.

They are refering to the fact that AMEX dates any new accounts to the year that you first had an AMEX card. So if you first had an AMEX in 2000 and opened an account now it would show on your credit report that it was opened in 2000.

Thanks.  Yeah, maybe when I feel like paying a $450 annual fee.  Smiley Happy

I'm not big on annual fees.  I've considered the Gold card, for the preferred seating, but just can't bring myself to pay the fee to use a card.
