And how did you get a 10.24% when their disclosures say 17%?!
"Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Purchases 0.0% introductory APR for 6 or 12 months, based on your creditworthiness.
After that, your APR will be 17.24, 19.24 or 21.24%, based on your creditworthiness as determined at the time of account opening. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate."Yep- the lowest available APR is much higher now.
Hey, Im a little confused... What are all those things Im hearing about AMEX backdating??? What does that mean???

They are refering to the fact that AMEX dates any new accounts to the year that you first had an AMEX card. So if you first had an AMEX in 2000 and opened an account now it would show on your credit report that it was opened in 2000.

Thanks. Yeah, maybe when I feel like paying a $450 annual fee.
I'm not big on annual fees. I've considered the Gold card, for the preferred seating, but just can't bring myself to pay the fee to use a card.
UPDATE: I got the card yesterday (that was super fast).
$8500 CL
0% for 6 months
After that 19.24%, but I PIF (I never look at the interest rates but figured it might be helpful to others, prime +15.99%)
Best of all to me, backdated to 2001!
Again,
NO:
-Annual fee
-Cash advance fee
-Balance transfer fee
-Late payment fee
-Returned payment fee
-Over limit fee
Backdated to 2001 and NO fees. Yay!!!!!!
