I just applied for the Chase Slate card via Internet to take advantage of the 15 months 0% interest. I immediately got the application under review message and called the backdoord number. The credit analyst said I was turned down due to too many inquiries. I told her the inquries are due to opening new checking and savings account. I told her that I wasn't sure why they do HPs for opening new checking and savings accounts and she understood. She reversed the decision and approved me for $6000! So, after that, I moved my $8,000 Chase Freedom credit line to the new Slate card giving me a $14,000 credit line. The standard rate is 11.99 the lowest rate! That is exactly what I needed! Doing the happy dance!!!
