I have A LOT!!! If they pulled Experian (which most likely they did) I have 17!   7 should be off by October 2012

CONGRATS. Dang u must have had something they really liked cause my limits were similiar to yours and I had a few inqs and NO derogs. And they started me with a paltry $600. And now I'm hearing that its hard as hell to grow with me without taking a H/P every single time. Congrats on the good CL THO

Thanks!...Yeah thats all im hearing too that its hard to grow with them! I really hope they change that since I've heard they have made changes to their underwriting dept.

If I had to guess I think you were already a beneficiary of that.  Chase isn't exactly known for smashing competitors tradelines historically, and they nearly tripled any of your current CL's, on cards from lenders that aren't even competitive with the Freedom or Chase.

I wouldn't sweat the growth issue much, that is one helluva an approval honestly for where you were at before and is a really nice step upward on the CL pyramid.

Congrats!! Awesome starting limit..Everyone seems to love the Freedom card from what I've read here.

I've been receiving "pre-approval" from Chase for the Freedom & Slate, but haven't take the bite yet bc we all know that "pre-approved" these days doesn't mean much..LOL
