OK. I was in the garden. Then I went to book a room at Hyatt, and there was this offer. 2 free nights. Plus, a free night every year (to wash away the AF). No foreign transaction fees. Chip and pin. OK. I broke down. In addition, I was hurting because my FICO plummeted 30 points today when the first card I apped for hit. So, I went for it, figuring I will not be able to app again for a year while all this dust settles. I needed one card that was international. And two free nights were quite the allure. I am so going to regret this in a month or so after all these cards hit my report.I must stop apping. I am turning into Appbar. I need to LOCK myself in the garden. For a year.
AHHH!! Congrats!! I'm an avid Hyatt stayer, and have no complaints about their hotels, other than the ridiculous parking fees ($19/night) in their Newport Hyatt Regency location. I have wanted this card so bad after staying thier fr the first time. Congrats!!
Congrats on your new card! Is it chip and pin, my chase card is chip and signature.
It might be chip and signature. I guess I was so excited I didn't pay close enough attention. geez. I better go look.

Yeah, the Hyatt card is a Visa Signature, the newer versions are also secured with a pin and chip in them. This is fairly new, though. When I talked to a Chase CSR, she said that the minimum CL was $5,000, making it a signature.
Very nice. A $75 AF is well worth a free night in the Hyatt. Definitely a good deal there!

OK. A voice of wisdom. Chip and pin it is!
Chip and Sig. Chase doesnt offer chip and pin currently. Have this experience from JP Select.
Oh, I thought the pin was standard with a chip, either way though, it looks pretty awesome, and very few people have chips in their card in the US currently anyway.
