Ok so the CL is only $100, but from what I keep reading it will grow with me! I would have never even tried to get this card had I not read these forums! Off to buy some clearance $5 jewelry, then pay it off online....Woo Hoo!

it will grow with you! continue to treat it well, super congrats! it is such a great feeling to have felt it out of reach and then to app it and then be approved, yay! starting limit on a macy's card seems pretty inconsequential due to their generous offering of a gli every three months or so-

Macy's is pretty good with CLI's. Last Nov, I started with $100 CL. Now I am at $3200 CL.

Shockingly they pulled from Experian and I still got approved!! True CL is low, but I'm in!! I have already raised scores 30+ points in 2 months!! Woo hoo!

wow those are pretty low scores. maybe i should get a macy's card just for the hell of it. i was worried my scores would be too low!

did you app in store or online?

and if you don't mind.. what are the baddies on your reports?

just opened 2 new accounts.. Macys Red and BOA 99/500.. util went from 89% to 64% overall but AAoA dropped from 3 to 2 years.

I started with a 300 Sams card and 4+ years latter its now 3100. Care for it and it will grow and help you with your credit in general.
