Well, it's not really abusing the number, that's what they're there for. Either they will or wont approve you, and if after several attempts at recon you still don't succeed, then you try something else.

Congrats on your approval. Every 4 months you can call the automated system and request a CLI, and it's a SP. My account started out with a $400 CL in 9/2011, and it's now up to $2,400 so it will definitely grow.

Congratulations on your approval. These accounts are renowned for growing credit limits VERY quickly. Seems the general concensus is just about avery 4 statement hit the "luv button" and if you have been maintaining the account well, its almost a sure thing. I personally, have grown my account both carrying a balance and with $0 carried... your future is bright ![]()

OP, don't ever be scared to ask! If you don't ask, the answer is automatically no. If you ask, at least you have a 50/50 chance of getting what you ask for!!
I like the latter odds better lol. NEVER hurts to try.

Anybody know if the Walmart store card gets the gas discount at a SAMs club? I don't have a Walmart gas station near by but I do have a SAMs with a gas station.
