Opened my Venture card in 8/2014 and they gave me a 15k starting limit.
My 6th statement cut yesterday so I requested a CLI and I got a 7 to 10 day message.
I used the card heavily. Total charges in the first 6 months were around $40k. Always PIF, balance 0 on recent statement cut.
Do they give instant decisions on CLI or is it usually a 7 to 10 message.
Guess I'll have to wait a few days to see what happens. Who do they soft for the decision, EQ.

They usually use the actual timeframe of ~6 months as opposed to 6 statements. Usually CLI approvals are instant. I'd check back tomorrow for a letter and see what the reasons are. You may need to have the EO request a manual review.

Interesting if it didn't say 2-3 days.
They usually soft EQ, Yes.
Actually it did say 2 to 3, not 7 to 10.
Perhaps if it's actually a time frame of 6 months and not 6 statements, I may be under 6 months from actual open date. I'm not sure what the actual open date is.
Don't really need the CLI just thought I would ask for it since it a SP.
I'll wait and see what the letter says.

Unless you are using a large portion of that $15k line every month, the reason will most likely be "Recent use of current credit limit is too low".
They love that one. I can show you the stack of letters I've gotten from them with that "reason".
Same. Often get "Recent use of this account's existing credit line has been too low"
