Are charge cards worth it in this day and age?

I am not sure that I view charge and revolvers differently since I am a PIF guy.  I like the confidence my experience with AMEX and their service provides, but I feel the same way about Chase. As a result those are the two cards that I use the most but it has nothing to do with a card being a revolver or a charge.

I did not put Cap One in the same tier as Chase or Amex.  I am, nonetheless, grateful to Cap One for the boost that they afforded me during my rebuild. When I travel it is my Venture that stays in my locked luggage along with a copy of my passport.
