Asking for additional credit increase after already receiving automatic increase

I just recently received an automatic $1,000 increase to my Credit Care card from $4,200.  Is it possible to call and see if they can incease it more?  I don't want a hard pull though. Or is the increase they give non-negotiable?

You can always call. Ask if it will be a hard pull. It likely will be since you just received an auto increase.

Thank you, yes, she said most likely it would be a hard pull but there was no way to know until a request was sent in.  I said no way.  So good to know.
