So you have $0 reporting on all your statements?  and if you are paying plus 10% that means when your statement cuts you have a credit balance?

guys...this is just the 6th statement that was cut last week. the number of months is still 5 and a 1/2 at this point.

Regardless, I think I'll just hang on, won't call them because I really do not need the extra money.

If they have a sound system, I should be picked, I have all my vitals at optimum levels right now.

Util just got down from 3% to 2% across the board.

I have paid in full + 10% and never carried a balance with them in the past 6 months.

I am sorry if I sound naive, but I can't understand what does this line (highlighted in red) mean.

=======================================

@Anonymous: discover allows you to pay 10% more than the balance. i.e. if you owe $100 and the statement is for $100 ...you can make a payment for $110.

@john398: credit balance sometimes, but usually I have a balance due of about 1%. I don't have credit balance on all cards...my total util is about 3% across the board.

Re: At 6 months with Discover, should I ask or expect?

lol... don't "expect" anything from Discover.

I wanted a 5k CLI at 6mo and they countered with... $500.  I tried for the bump again after 12 months and they countered with....nothing.  Hoping to diagnose their major malfunction,  I probed for progressivley lesser CLI's via the automated system and got denied each time.

They were kind enough to send me 5 or 6 denial letters in the mail for my trouble.  One for each time the automated phone system slammed the door in my face. Smiley LOL

Re: At 6 months with Discover, should I ask or expect?

I didn´t get an Auto CLI at 6months. I tried online (with SP), no way. I called, asked for 8K (from 1.5), took a HP and was approved. So YMMV, but I am happy with this. HP for 5,33 CLI is okay. Smiley Very Happy

Hey All,

So I reached 6 months with discover last week. Now what? Will they give me auto CLI or I should call?

Does discover give CLI at 6months with a soft pull?

History and vitals:

Discover More - Approved after ID verification(fax) in Nov 2012.

Last approval (chase) - April 16 2013.

Score across the board - above 740

Please let me know...Thx

I called and they said that I have reached only the 6th statement not the "month". bummer!

I am gonna have to call next month.

Re: At 6 months with Discover, should I ask or expect?

So is it 6th month or 6th statement? lol.

I think I opened mine Nov 1.

6 months is May and 6 statements is May. I'm assuming I will attempt the button after this statement closes on the 17th if I dont get an auto. I will let you know what happens with my attempt. I'm currently at 1700 and would love to get $3000 but I think I will ask for $2500. I don't want to risk a HP.

It's usually a SP with the button right?
